AAH work with landowners to gain planning consent for developments that enhance and diversify their current operation or releases equity from existing assets. Our team can advise and represent clients at any stage of a planned development from very first concept through to approval of design detail.

We have successfully negotiated large and small scale development of general and crop storage buildings, silage clamps, livestock sheds, stables, poultry broilers and egg production units with associated highways and infrastructure.

Our consultants provide sound planning advice in relation to farm diversification which allows our clients to make confident, informed decisions before committing to any one course of action and we will guide you through the planning process thereafter. Our diversification projects include large and small scale renewable energy development, open farm tourism, farm shops, holiday let cottages, camping and caravan sites, wedding and events space, fishing lakes and other outdoor recreation.

AAH boasts an enviable track record of securing consent for new residential, commercial and industrial development on agricultural land, not only via promotion of sites through the Council's Local Plan but also by speculative planning applications where a site has not been allocated for any such purpose. We can also help to achieve consent for conversion of agricultural buildings to residential or other use and with the variation or removal of occupancy restrictions.

Our services to a land owner are offered on standard consultancy terms, but we often work in a joint venture partnership on a risk free, no win no fee basis when it is mutually beneficial to do so.
